Trekking or walking is an activity practiced in all kinds of terrains and is not restricted to age, gender or physical fitness.

As in every task, there are various levels of difficulty, which can be surpassed gradually as experience is gained.

The routes are divided into four types of difficulty: relaxed, medium, steady and difficult. This specialty presents variants such as ascension hiking, which requires previous physical training and knowledge of certain basic safety rules. In order to do the hiking tour, it is necessary to take into account that you should adapt the level of each hiker’s capacity and going through signaled lands and it is recommended to use a pole, as it may support 8 % of your body weight.

At the time of preparing the equipment for the expedition, the maximum weight each person can carry –up to 20 % of their own weight- should be born in mind. Therefore, in order to avoid aches in the waist or back, it is advisable to carry only what is necessary.
